scruffmutt, a great guy who keeps me happy and sane. Love cooking and all things food, and aspire to have my own cooking show one day. Regularly abuse kitchen appliances, especially the espresso machine and the deep fryer. Try to stay active, including working out, biking and skiing whenever I can. Addicted to XBox and Nintendo. Spend time on the beaches of Provincetown. Love spending time pampering our black lab/border collie, Gus.
Grew up shopping in NJ malls until I was 18. Went to Hamilton College, a liberal arts school 'nestled in the foothills of the Adirondacks.' Learned to drink beer and calculate derivatives with other math geeks. Moved to New York City along Grand Army Plaza in Brooklyn to explore the 'real world.' Analyzed HR information and surveys for a large consulting company. Got bored, decided to change careers for something more creative and moved to Los Angeles to pursue an MBA in brand management / marketing. Moved to Minneapolis to manage marketing programs for The Artist Formerly Known as Prince. Froze through two nasty winters before relocating to Boston. Started working in high tech just before the bubble. Worked in various technology companies, including Lotus Development, IBM, Genuity, and ATG. Rode the boom up and down, now currently leading a marketing team for a Boston based software company.
